What requires a public correction record
- A factual error that changes a principal technical conclusion, scope or safety boundary.
- An incorrect source, edition, citation location or overstated source scope.
- A translation difference that changes material meaning or risk guidance.
Spelling, punctuation, styling, meaning-preserving wording and link maintenance are normally not individual material-correction records, though they may be summarized in release history.
Reporting materials
A report should identify the exact page, language, problem, supporting evidence and requested change. The blank file is prepared locally and is not sent or uploaded automatically. No dedicated correction email is currently published; use an existing contact channel with the publisher.
Verification and resolution gate
- Confirm the canonical page, language and exact challenged statement.
- Check primary or official sources, editions, scope and their relationship to the statement.
- Classify the issue as material error, missing qualification, source maintenance or meaning-preserving edit.
- Correct the text and synchronize language pages, structured data, versions and affected datasets.
- Only after a material correction is resolved is its result, date, affected page and resolution added to the public log.
Truthfulness boundary
Receiving a report does not prove an error, and correcting text does not equal independent professional review. Public entries do not expose reporter personal information or present anonymous feedback as expert endorsement.
